The Kiss_46"x42" framed_Acrylic on acid free paper
The Kiss photo does not show the frame but I will change that soon. This painting has an image that once pointed out can not be unseen. If you don't want that, do not continue to read! This is a woman's face from the side. At the top right are her red lips, ready for a kiss. A soft blue line forms her chin developing into a stronger blue and red that follows the jaw line. The throat is a vertical red line. Her Hair starts from a blue and red line on the top left of the work and flows down past her jaw line. I love the simplicity of this piece. I also love all the raw sienna and white marks that create a feeling of passion, life and movement in and around her.
